History & Background (Dossier)

Much of the subsector, long-held by the Arzula, was strongly influenced by anti-Lorean Hegemony propaganda in the early 870s. Led by local traders and prominent religious leaders, they successfully seceded in 872, defying Hegemony efforts to stop them. The further disintegration of the Hegemony was stopped only by the suicide of the Hegemon on 307-872, and the decision of his successor to immediately lift all economic restrictions and austerity measures while renouncing all war debts.
