• As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
• It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
• It is a member of the Zhodani Consulate in the Province of Iadr Nsobl, in the Llanic Subsector of Gvurrdon Sector.

• This world contains an archaeological site with suspected high-tech remnants of the now-vanished Ancients precursor race.

This system is part of the Qadre'idr Main (translated from the Zdetl as Forceful Arm or Forceful Reach).

History & Background (Dossier)

Tlrt was originally a low priority for colonisation by the Zhodani Consulate. A small settlement was established around -4200 to discover its potential for agriculture, to provide food for Zhodani worlds in Lianic Subsector. It was during this initial investigation that ruins of the Ancients were found, built into one of the mountain ranges.

Tlrt subsequently became a major world, both for archaeological study and for agricultural supply.

World Starport

Tlrt has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

World Government

Tlrt is governed by a Representative Democracy where government leadership is by representatives elected by eligible voters. What determines an eligible voter varies. The representatives determine policy, including selecting members of the bureaucracy. There can be referenda, votes by eligible voters on specific subjects.

The Zhodani Consulate maintains itself through a variety of taxes on goods and services. Each council -- planetary or higher -- has the authority to levy a tax on gross income to support services like hospitals, emergency and transport services, or the Tavrchedl'.

World Law

Three broad categories of crime are recognized by the Zhodani Consulate: inadvertent, incited, and insane. The concept of premeditated crime for personal gain fits under the insane heading.

• Inadvertent crime is an unintentional violation or infraction of the law, resulting from inattention. For minor cases the usual punishment is a small fine.
• Incited crime is an infraction of a law brought about by another, often resulting from an overreaction to inadvertent crime or misfortune. The solution is re-education.
• Insane crime is a general heading for most major crimes against property or individuals.

The currency of the Zhodani Consulate is the Abradlnad.
