The League of Asclepius is the name given to a fictional alien domain that lies far to trailing of the Distant Fringe. It is the central location of the 3V Entertainment show Plague Sector. It fights against the machinations of The Plague, a malevolent organism that has gained intelligence by taking over bodies.

The League of Asclepius is a medicracy. Positions of power and authority are held by doctors, physicians and other medical staff. The medical abilities and capabilities of the League are far in advance of anything within the Distant Fringe.

It lies on the edge of the Greater Samardin Cluster, close to the Ion Gate region between the Emerald Drift Shadow Rift and the Great Void.

It contains the origin system of the signal RSS Pe1517.

Background & History

The League of Asclepius was founded by a lost hospital ship of the Last Armada. It encountered another lost Last Armada vessel but was forced to flee before the all the survivors could be arrested. This second vessel was taken by The Plague and was their original source of human intelligence.
