The primary is Varl, a yellow-white subgiant star. It has a luminosity of 10.9 Sols, a mass of 1.95 Sols and a diameter of 3.59 million km. The inner system consists of (III, IV, V) three rocky vacuum worlds – orbital positions (I) and (II) are empty. Orbital position (VI) – the habitable zone of the star – is also empty. (VII) Celian, designated the mainworld, forms the outer system. None of the worlds in the system have satellites.

(VII) Celian is designated as the mainworld. It orbits Varl at a mean distance of 5.1 AU (763 million km), it has an orbital period of 8 years 90 days and a rotation period of 36.5 hours. The axial tilt is 15 degrees. Celian has a diameter of 10,238 km, a density of 4.57 g/cm³, and a surface gravity of 0.66 G. Its atmosphere is rated as Exotic, with a mean surface pressure of 3.45 bar and a composition of 97% nitrogen, 2% methane, and 1% argon, carbon dioxide, neon, hydrogen and other trace gases. Approximately 6% of the surface is covered in lakes of liquid methane. Mean surface temperature: -126°C. The atmosphere is dynamic and powerful weather systems, driven by the star, sweep across the globe. The climate is seasonal and weather patterns follow regular cycles during the local year.
