A Human culture of Solomani heritage. They are a notable demographic in the far-spinward regions of the Solomani Confederation.

The Yelars are Humans whose ancestors settled worlds in what later became the Aslan Hierate. During the Aslan Border Wars these colonies were depopulated when the Humans were driven from their homes, forced to settle less hospitable worlds in the Dark Nebula Sector and Ustral Quadrant Sector. Known as grim and resentful peoples, the Yelars are named after Yehlya'aow, a garden world in the Iwahfuah Sector none of them have ever seen.

Incorporating Yelar into the Solomani Confederation has presented some problems.
