History and Background[edit]

Yehlya'aow is a pleasant, Terran Norm world, currently part of the Aslan Hierate.

The mainworld was first settled by Terran emigres during the Interstellar Wars period, long before the Aslan acquired the Jump Drive. As the Aslan expanded across the sector, established human populations were either absorbed or displaced spinward into human space. The name Yehlya'aow has lent itself to the Yelars, a current-day human culture found in the spinward portions of the Solomani Sphere. The Yelars are descended from human populations that refused to assimilate and were driven out of Aslan space. Even thousands of years later the Yelars continue to harbor great resentment against the Aslan. Aslan clans with holdings on Yehlya'aow have interdicted the world to prevent any Yelars from attempting to return to their lost planet.
