The Toh Republic is an interstellar state composed of 7 systems beyond the Rimward borders of the Solomani Confederation, in the Toh Subsector of the Malorn Sector.
The "Republic" is in fact a corporate polity, its personnel taking advantage of thriving preindustrial communities on several closely-situated planets. Only three worlds have interstellar technology and starport facilities, and between them they boast less than 1,500 personnel. The vast majority of the Republic's people are stone- or bronze-age residents of the other four worlds, a mix of Humans -- likely descended from an old, possibly lost naval expedition or speculative trading fleet -- and a native Minor Race on Ortho (Malorn 2125).
Government & Politics (Leadership)[edit]
The Toh Republic is characterized as having a high degree of centralization, which sets uniform policies that direct the entire multi-system state and disregards local/planetary differences. The Toh Republic is usually classified as a Republic, a form of a Unitary State. In truth it is governed by a corporation, and its small pool of directors.

Note that some Second Survey data, though only 40 years old, may already be out of date.
- Scouting missions gathering reliable, verified data can receive substantial payment.
