An ancient design common near the end of the Rule of Man. Using a partially streamlined, armored close configuration 1,600 ton hull, the Rule of Man Sloop is a typical small warship used on patrol, military, and anti-corsair missions. It mounts jump 2 drives and 6 G maneuver drives. Fuel tankage for 416 ton supports the power plant and allows one jump-2. Adjacent to the bridge is a model/5 fib computer. There are 18 staterooms with double occupancy. There is a 100ton missile bay and six triple turrets mounted with fire control. Installed on the hard-points are two triple sand casters in a single battery, two double plasma gun turrets with four firing batteries, and two triple beam laser turrets grouped into a single battery. There are no ship's vehicles nor ship's troops. The cargo capacity is 3 tons. The Sloop requires a crew of thirty two.
