The rank of Sea Admiral (O8) is the most senior commissioned officer rank in the Imperial Army's Nautical Force Command.

Each Nautical Fleet in the Imperium will be commanded by a Sea Admiral. Few planets deploy enough ships to be classified "Nautical Fleets".

Appointment to this rank attracts the title of Knight or Baronet ^[1]^[2].

This rank is simply named after the "Admiral that commands at sea".
