The rank of Sea Admiral (O8) is the most senior commissioned officer rank in the Imperial Army's Nautical Force Command.

Description (Specifications)

Each Nautical Fleet in the Imperium will be commanded by a Sea Admiral. Few planets deploy enough ships to be classified "Nautical Fleets".

• The equivalent rank in the Imperial Army Ground Force Command (GFC) is Major General or higher.
• The equivalent rank in the Imperial Army Close Orbit and Airspace Control Command (COACC) is Air Marshal.

The equivalent rank in other services are:

• Imperial Navy: Fleet Admiral.
• Imperial Marines: Brigadier-General.

Appointment to this rank attracts the title of Knight or Baronet .
