History & Background (Dossier)
Querion serves as the Zhodani capital of the subsector.
Querion’s main industry is the bureaucracy of the subsector, with a large number of ambassadors based here before going to the various neutral worlds. Imperial agencies claim that the Tavrchedl' (Thought Police) keep a large contingent of agents here.
Sheol
Commercial ships normally refueled at the system’s larger gas giant, so Sheol was rarely visited. For centuries, those rare starship crews who had been there relayed stories of strange, vast creatures sighted within the atmosphere. While gas giant atmosphere-dwellers had been previously observed elsewhere in the Spinward Marches, e.g. at Komesh in the Boughene system, and at least one starfaring gas giant race existed (the Jgd-il-Jagd) no-one expected to find a civilization on Sheol.
