Polyphemus is a freak among worlds. Long ago, it became tide-locked to its red-dwarf primary, its volatile compounds freezing out on the night side. Polyphemus (Solomani Rim 1537) is a prosperous, science-oriented world and is the home of the Polypheman Scientific Academy, a university specializing in robotics and xenosciences, as well as one of the few Hiver embassies in human space.
Polyphemus is the homeworld of High Councilor Kathleen Ryan-Cox, minister of science and technology.
