The Parawing is an airfoil-shaped parachute which permits much more control of the descent than the parachute.

Description (Specifications)
Hitting a given target area is easier with a parawing. Parawings are lighter but somewhat more expensive than standard parachutes. A ripcord release is standard for parawings.
