- It is a military vehicle, a tracked AFV.
Description (Specifications)
M181L class Parathan Desert Mobile Field Kitchen, TL-6: The vehicle's is very lightly armored. They are sealed with a fire suppression system and air conditioning in addition to having over pressure versus chemical/bacteriological/and nuclear threats. one of these vehicles is assigned to feed and supply a mechanized company of 100 troopers. They are armed with an unstabilized, pintel mounted HMG for the commander/gunner's hatch. The vehicle's 5m³ tracked suspension combined with a low ground pressure ensures that it will never get stuck off road. This is a L=logistics version with a field kitchen installed in what was the troop bay. It is heavier and slower than the APC. Each of these vehicles can feed 100 troops and they can carry 8 tons of cargo/supplies. They also carry x6 the fuel capacity of the APCs. With this extra fuel they have greater endurance or can refuel other vehicles.
Basic Vehicle Characteristics
Following the Imperial Army and IISS Universal Vehicle Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the vehicle when applicable. Tonnage on the universal vehicle profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary.

History & Background (Dossier)
Designed and manufactured at TL–6, these vehicles were commissioned and license built for the certain military clients on Paratha (world), in the Ras Tennol Subsector of the Far Home Sector in the Distant Fringe. The vehicle's two man crew run the vehicle while the culinary specialists feed the company. They are designed to operate and maneuver in the open desert. Lightly armored and inexpensive, they represent a pragmatic design aesthetic. The cargo space is essential to survival, food, water and extra fuel cans can mean the difference between life and death. They are light enough and sealed to be amphibious, which is typically irrelevant on their bone-dry home world. However, on certain colonial deployments on behalf of the glorious leader, this feature has proven an unpleasant surprise to enemy forces. These vehicles are essential for the logistical support of the three Paratha Combat Brigades.
