The Punisher class Light Battle Rider is a combatant warship.
- It is a military ship.
Description (Specifications)
The Ras Tennol Oni class Fleet Tender can carry five of these TL–12 warships. The Punisher class Light Battle Rider was designed to provide cover for the five, much larger Omega Supreme class Battle Riders. These craft carry very thick armor, screens and a strong missile bay. They are fast and agile with a powerful computer.
Basic Ship Characteristics
Following the Imperial Navy and IISS Universal Ship Profile and data, additional information is presented in the format shown here. The small craft factor indicates the number of squadrons (of ten craft) carried on the ship. Tonnage on the universal ship profile is shown in kilotons (thousands of tons) where necessary. [1]

History & Background (Dossier)
Originally the design was intended to carry an additional computer, back up screens, and an auxiliary bridge to help absorb critical hits from battle damage. Once the final hull was fabricated, the freakish thickness of the armor precluded these design features. The larger power plant had to be scaled back as well, which limited the agility. These streamlined attack boats can be used to scoop fuel for the large fleet tender. These were envisioned to be able to stand toe to toe with the likes of a Ch'kaahi class Battle Rider, if need be, and to survive the encounter.
