RSS Re3021 Received Signal Source Remoran Sector 3021.
Details / Specifications
An anomalous signal originating from a system centered on a binary star system containing a white main sequence star and a red main sequence star. The signal is periodic, unmodulated, and in the 2-3 GHz range.
History
RSS Re3021 was detected by the University of Selasia Spinward Survey. It became public knowledge following publication of the "Stars of The Rim" Astrographic Survey in 5570AD. The signal may be a false positive, it may be being transmitted by a currently unknown advanced sophont NIL, it may be evidence of Vilani activity, or it may simply be a natural phenomenon.
