ca 4900AD-5200AD. A development organisation focused on the trailing half of Far Home Sector. It was divided into Departments: the Central Department consisted of the Pador-Aredian cluster and had its headquarters at Pador (2325 Far Home). The Coreward Department was centered on Ras Tennol.

    • Primary responsibility: Management and oversight of the New Frontiers project.
    • Bureau of Sophont Affairs, largely responsible for the interests of the Temelik of Iasanu (2224 Far Home)
  • Central Department, headquarters at Yerrin (2225 Far Home)
  • Coreward Department, headquarters at Ras Tennol (2315 Far Home).
  • Office of the Void, headquarters at Yaradana (2220 Far Home).
    • Primary responsibility: Development of worlds along the Voids Edge, worlds lying to trailing of the Demon's Eye Rift.
  • Rim Worlds, headquarters at Alasar (2427 Far Home).

History & Background / Dossier

New Frontiers was always a ramshackle organisation, plagued by mismanagement and suffering badly at the hands of pirates. It is best remembered for the Rape of Erena (2823 Far Home) and the Cephet Massacre (2821 Far Home).
