5013AD. A notorious pirate attack of the early 51st century

An attack directed against the Erena system (2823 Far Home) in 5013AD by a large pirate group calling itself the Immortals.

History & Background

The Immortals overcame Erena’s defences and occupied the major settlement on the world for almost a week, engaging in an orgy of theft, destruction, and abuse. The pirates stripped the settlement of all of its equipment and supplies and then bombarded key structures from orbit. Hundreds of innocent citizens were killed or injured and thousands more were left without food or shelter. It is estimated that the Immortals stole 200 million credits worth of goods and valuables.

The Immortals were also responsible for the Cephet Massacre of 5014AD. They were later tracked down and faced justice.
