Ghaedzaekh is an icy world with little atmosphere and a significant quantity of water frozen on the surface. The system supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. The world lies substantially outside of the habitable zone of the system and environmental temperatures are well below the freezing point of many gases. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Zeda Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Ghaedzaekh, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world. 100% of the world's population is the Major Race Vargr. During the Long Night this world was named Isduurma.

	Remarks

History and Background

Ghaedzaekh is named after a character out of ancient Vargr mythology, the Goddess of Ice. The world was given its name by the first explorers to visit this desolate, frozen rock. They had been previously surveying the Vargr worlds on the Vilani coreward frontier.

Medurma Main StarLines maintains an office and facilities at the starport.

Most of the current small population are either employed at the starport or by a joint DagMet AG-CLiP mineralogical survey team.

World Starport (St)

Ghaedzaekh has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
