History & Background[edit]

Over the past several centuries, some of the locals on Uppsala have adapted to breathing its air by eating a local leaf (or extracts therefrom). The enzymes in the leaf bond to the inhaled atmospheric contaminants and then carry them out of the body. Local physicians recommend against doing this for long periods of time, however, as lesser impurities remain uncleansed and can shorten life expectancy by about ten years.

Imperial Landed Nobility[edit]

Uppsala, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world.
