Universal Robot Profile
The Universal Robot Profile is used to quickly and concisely describe a robot's primary attributes.
- It is a Universal Code.

The profile consists of a string of digits, each digit describing one attribute of the robot and it's functional capability. The code remains in widespread use with manufacturers, scientists, roboticists, vendors, consumer organizations, and enthusiasts.
The profile is divided into four parts:

A version of the URP was originally developed by the venerable Vilani Bureaux several thousand years ago. It remained in use until the Long Night hit. Even the Rule of Man used it. When the Sylean Federation grew into the Third Imperium, a simplified version came back into use where it has remained ever since.
