Socrates class Trade Station

Socrates class Trade Station, otherwise known as Socrates Station, is an established trade station located within the Shionthy belt.

Description (Specifications)

The station is on a planetoid which is trapped in a stable LaGrange point trailing behind the gas giant Socrates. Socrates Station is well known to Imperial Authorities and is considered one of the more modern and civilized locations in the system. Fuel, accommodations, and minor maintenance or repairs can be found here.

History & Background (Dossier)

The star port is easy to see from orbit as it sits within the large crater which deformed the north surface of the asteroid. The center of the crater is smooth and makes a good natural landing field. The star town and associated businesses are cut into the side of the crater wall.

• Socrates Station has a Contra-Terrene processing and storage facility which allows the locals to sell anti-matter to the navy for a modest profit.
• Arcon Lines has a small facility on Socrates Station
