Shea has a scarcity of water and a relatively sparse atmosphere. The system has a population over 1 billion sophonts. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Gadde Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Shea, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight (the Imperial representative to the world) and the fiefdom of a count. Both are members of the Imperial Landed Nobility who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level. During the Long Night this world was named Shea.

Astrography and Planetology[edit]

Shea is a member of the Pukh-Shea Cluster.

History and Background[edit]

Shea was a well-established Vilani colony world stretching back to the early years of the First Imperium. It became a refuge for millions of Vilani fleeing the rimward sectors following the collapse of the empire at the hands of the Solomani. The huge influx of refugees over a 50-year period increased the population ten-fold, from a stable 18 million to nearly 200 million. With restrictions on the movement of large sections of the Vilani population and the later collapse of the Solomani Empire the number of inhabitants steadily grew until the huge population had stripped the planet of almost all its resources.

Shea's only real export now are its well-trained people, most of which most are of pure Vilani lineage, for the world has a number of large, excellent universities, institutes and academies including the city of the University of Kasiiga. Shea's capital (Urshiiglii) also holds one of the largest MemClip libraries in all the Imperium -- a branch of the Argushiigi Admegulasha Bilanidin, following closely behind Vland, Terra and Capital.

World Starport[edit]

Shea has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.

World Military[edit]

Army General Dame Nadia Wagner is the current commander of the 766th Commando Brigade, which is charged with counter insurgency.

World Economy[edit]

This world imports great quantities of food from Denisol.

The corporation Shea Agro-Constructs is based here.
