Sevror is a nonindustrial fluid world.

  • A fluid world has an oceanic geography consisting of heavily contaminated water or a substance such as ammonia, methane, hydrocarbons, or other exotic liquid.
  • It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
  • It is a member of the Solomani Confederation in the Oriah Subsector of Alpha Crucis Sector.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

World Starport (Sp)[edit]

Sevror has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

  • Most of the starport facilities are in orbit. Only special armored shuttles flown by insane pilots can bring passengers and cargo down through the corrosive atmosphere and violent storms. The landing grounds must quickly recover these shuttles and bring them underground on fast elevators. Nothing left exposed for long will last. All surface installations require constant maintenance. This makes interface flight operations dangerous and expensive.
