Description (Astrography & Planetology)[edit]

This world is located within the Lesser Rift.

System Data[edit]

The worlds of the system have been surveyed. They consist of:

Designates:

  • Ring'tki, orbits at 1.2 AU (mainworld)
  • Belt-1 at or about 3 AU, preceding and trailing G1.
  • G1, orbits at 3.5 AU, with 4 potentially habitable moons.
  • G2, orbits at 6 AU, with a particularly large moon.
  • Belt-2 at or near 12 AU at high inclination.
  • G3, orbits at 25 AU, with 2 potentially habitable moons.
  • Belt-3 at or near 36 AU at high inclination, at Pi/2 inclination from Belt-2.

The Ring'tki system is characterized by its large central star, its habitable inner planet, and its unusual belt arrangement. The age of the system is roughly 3.7 billion years.

The system name is a reference to a Vargr minor god of contemplation.

Additional system details can be found here.

Mainworld Data[edit]

Ring'tki orbits within its star's habitable zone, and has bi-polar icecaps and some surface water.

Mainworld Size (S)[edit]

Ring'tki is a Meso World between 7,200km and 8,800km in diameter. The world has a standard gravity between 0.4G and 0.57G. The horizon will appear about 4km away.

  • A relatively small, dry world from initial scans.

Mainworld Atmosphere (A)[edit]

Ring'tki has a pressure of 1.50 to 2.49 atmospheres. A Dense Atmosphere requires no survival gear although it may be hard on sophonts not accustomed to it.

Mainworld Hydrosphere (H)[edit]

Ring'tki has 25-35% of its surface covered by liquid water. It has a few small seas. Wilderness refueling is possible. Water for the inhabitants will be recycled.

Mainworld Geography and Topography[edit]

No centrally held map of the world exists within AAB Library Data records.

Ring'tki is the only planet with a water ocean and icecaps in system. Wilderness refueling should be possible.

Native Lifeforms[edit]

No evidence of life exists for Ring'tki.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

The Ring'tki system and its lone habitable zone world are extremely isolated from casual spacecraft. It has been surveyed by the IISS using multi-year programs with significant setup and the creation of highly classified deep-space refueling areas via the !!m system.

Ring'tki seems to be a habitable world, but extremely difficult to access.

World Government[edit]

None.

World Economy[edit]

There is no population, and so no economy.

Culture[edit]

N/A

Recent History[edit]

IISS Scout Arthur Jones (Scout Captain) and his security detail Imperial Marine Lt. Chelsea Morenguard were the last mission operatives dispatched to !!m, with orders to survey !!m itself, Ring'tki, and the third system in this empty space (in K'konanxogne Subsector). No contact has been received for 5 years, but the mission is still considered viable. Recommendations are to follow up with additional resources when feasible.
