The Psionic switch is a Psychotronics (psionic electronics) switch, a psionically sensitive control which can be connected to various equipment like iris valves, simple automatic doors, and many convenience items such as lights, temperature or environment controls, and entertainment or communication devices. The switch is capable of only being toggled on or off. Psionically trained individuals with telepathy can activate the switches with a minor flick of their minds.
In sensitive work environments, use of psionic switches installed within walls prevents easy access by non-psionic personnel.
