Prtabrket has both a thin tainted atmosphere and no surface water which makes habitation by sophonts difficult. The system has a population between 10,000 and a million, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. It is a member of Zhodani Consulate in the Yeplzhaf Subsector of Knoellighz Sector and in the Province of Shtochiadr.

History and Background[edit]

This is an Unabsorbed World (equivalent to Amber Zone); claimed and governed by the Zhodani Consulate but not absorbed into the mainstream of Zhodani culture.

World Starport[edit]

Prtabrket has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

Linguistic Topography[edit]

World Technology Level[edit]

Prtabrket possesses a Technology Level of TL–10 or TL-A in Hexadecimal Notation.

World Government[edit]

Prtabrket is governed by a Charismatic Dictatorship. Charismatic governments justify their ability to rule by simply asserting their right to rule. Charismatic dictatorships are typically young governments, coming as a recent change, and rely on the leader(s) to supply head of government.

The Zhodani Consulate maintains itself through a variety of taxes on goods and services. Each council -- planetary or higher -- has the authority to levy a tax on gross income to support services like hospitals, emergency and transport services, or the Tavrchedl'.

World Military[edit]

An Unabsorbed World is not usually permitted to maintain armed forces (other than police).

World Law[edit]

Three broad categories of crime are recognized by the Zhodani Consulate: inadvertent, incited, and insane. The concept of premeditated crime for personal gain fits under the insane heading.

  • Inadvertent crime is an unintentional violation or infraction of the law, resulting from inattention. For minor cases the usual punishment is a small fine.
  • Incited crime is an infraction of a law brought about by another, often resulting from an overreaction to inadvertent crime or misfortune. The solution is re-education.
  • Insane crime is a general heading for most major crimes against property or individuals.

World Economy[edit]

The currency of the Zhodani Consulate is the Abradlnad.

Trade Data[edit]

No information yet available.

World Culture[edit]

The Zhodani Consulate promotes the belief system of Tavrziansh, Morality's Path.
