History and background[edit]

Nurashimu has been selected as the home for a new Church of the Brethren meditation center, a modern day monastery. The center is in its early stages of development. The Brethren have applied for the construction of a Brethren Uplift Institute to investigate life-forms in the Remnants Subsector.

In addition to the IISS station, the remaining population are a small collection of miners.
