World Culture[edit]
S'mrii society is highly stratified and formed from large socioeconomic groups known as phyla. Each phylum has an overall rank in S'mrii society, which is widely described as pyramidal. Phyla vary widely in size, having anywhere between 6,000 and 15 million members.
- The basic social unit within a phylum is the Ka'usui (or "family") consisting of a pair of S'mrii, their children, and attendant Kiakh'iee. Three or four ka'usui make up an Sk*khua ("circle") which is often equated to the Human extended family.
- Loyalty to the phylum governing council is heavily emphasized as part of a S'mrii education.
