Loes
The language of the Loeskalth, a now extinct minor human race from Gushemege Sector.
Although a "dead" language, there are still many place and family names in Vipach Subsector that are derived from Loes. Academic study into the language continues, primarily at the Ushulu Polyhumit. There has been an upsurge in interest in the language during the last few decades, and Loes slogans have been found at the scene of several recent terrorist attacks.

History & Background (Historical Linguistics)[edit]
Exolinguists kept finding traces of Loes throughout Charted Space, leading researchers to believe that the Loeskalth might have had greater cultural influence than previously imagined. It was eventually determined, for example, that the “Sky Raiders” of Far Frontiers Sector, who left their mark -- including linguistically -- on many local cultures, were Loeskalth refugees.
