Laahii is a nonindustrial fluid world.

  • A fluid world has an oceanic geography consisting of heavily contaminated water or a substance such as ammonia, methane, hydrocarbons, or other exotic liquid.
  • It requires extensive imports of outside technology to maintain a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
  • It is a member of the Third Imperium in the Libert Subsector of Diaspora Sector in the Domain of Sol.

History & Background[edit]

The Humans of Laahii have long kept Chirpers as "pets". Some three hundred years ago, a local philanthropist established a building trust for the construction and ongoing expansion of a huge artificial preserve for Chirpers. This massive greenhouse-arboretum later came under full-scale hydroponic cultivation, easing the locals' dependence upon external food sources.

Imperial Landed Nobility[edit]

Laahii, as a member world of the Third Imperium has a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world.
