Khtaoweiha is a preindustrial, moderate population oceanic world with over a hundred million, but not yet at a billion sophonts in population size.

• It is covered with very deep oceans with less than 1% of its land above sea level.
• The inhabitants of this world live on the roughly 1% of exposed land mass, in underwater colonies, on city ships, or similar arrangements.
• As a preindustrial world, this planet cannot yet manufacture enough high-technology resources to support a modern, star-faring society. Having to import most manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
• This world is part of the Aslan Hierate, as a single one-clan dominate, in the Kyahiyleakhaw Subsector of Touchstone Sector.

• This world has an Aslan Clan Base, which may combine the features of an army base for ground forces, a scout base, or even a naval base for starships.

World Starport

Khtaktatawes has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

New Era

Khtaktatawes is shared between the Aroa'ya minor bloc, and the Ukahawor clan. Once bitter enemies, they have forgotten their bloody past in the face of repeated aggression by Exodus clans. Land on the world is nearly non-existent, and the scarcity prompted the former feud between the two clans. This scarcity has been partially alleviated by an improvement in technology that has opened up the world-ocean floor to settlement. All surface land is now in a joint trust between the two clans, who stringently enforce the peace between their vassals and new arrivals.
