Point of Interest: Grinzh Gas Giant

The greatest asset Khoun has is its single, potent Gas Giant named Grinzh, or "Gift" in Anglic. The density of this Gas Giant's atmosphere results in upper atmospheric storms, making fuel skimming dangerous. Yet this tempestuous climate also stirs up the needed gas desired by vessels. This is the true territory in dispute in Khoun, for ships find they can refuel and process in half the average time, given a proficient pilot and fuel scoops on the skimming craft.

History & Background (Dossier)

Khoun is a no-Vargr's world that has suffered a Tainted atmosphere due to its treatment as a battleground by the navies of the Infinity League and the Ascendancy Pact as well as exchanges between Privateers and Corsairs. Even corporate vessels competing for the thoroughfare on the Bridge of Destiny trade shots for control of trade between the Quiet Wars polities. The mainworld has little draw and no population due to the many bombed-out attempts at colonization by both empires. Hulk ruins of such attempts dot the landscape on each major grid of the planet's surface.
