Kamisaraki is a world suited to becoming an agricultural world, but with a population between 10,000 and 100,000 sophonts it lacks the capability to produce or process sufficient resources to export its projected agricultural produce. The governance of this world is from Jode (Deneb 0805). It is a member of Third Imperium in the Lamas Subsector of Deneb Sector and in the Domain of Deneb. Kamisaraki, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estates of an Imperial knight (the Imperial representative to the world) and a baronet. Both are members of the Imperial Landed Nobility who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel.

History & Background (Dossier)

The former colony of Waalikii (Deneb 0706). When the mother-world fell into the Regency Frontier, the planetary government perceived their world as being too vulnerable to Viral or Vargr attack, and it was decided to abandon the world for the more habitable colony. Kamisaraki was previously a marginal agricultural world that provided produce and food for Waaliki, and the shift was not entirely welcomed by the population of either world, largely because of the disruption it entailed. The government wisely invested in local infrastructure, and has managed to create a viable alternative source of income. In spite of the hot climate, it has developed a significant tourist industry, sustained by visitors from Urnas that patronize the world's burgeoning resorts and casinos. Agriculture remains the main export, but most of the population works in various service industries, catering to offworld visitors.
