Gesrakur is a fluid world with an oceanic geography of a liquid other than water such as ammonia, methane, hydrocarbons, or other exotic liquids. The system supports a population of fewer than 10,000 sophonts. This is a high technology world with available technology over the standards for Charted Space. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Remnants Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Gesrakur, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Landed Nobility who acts as an Imperial representative to the world. This world has a nearby Imperial Naval Base, capable of handling warships. During the Long Night this world was named Kaaagkhi.

History and Background

The Imperial Navy operates a small base on this world. It is a minor training facility with close co-operation with the naval base on D'Artur (Dagudashaag 0924), specializing in system defense and guerrilla tactics. Gesrakur also houses the Imperial navy ship design and architecture school, part of the Imperial military design academy of Core.

World Starport (St)

Gesrakur has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

• There is an associated Imperial Naval Base, hosting elements of the 190th Fleet.
