World Starport

Ganokoulovaenu has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.

• Vargr starports reflect the variety of Vargr architecture, with many disparate styles of building, each having their own unique ornamentation and gaudy colour scheme, and all competing for the attention of the onlooker. Emblems for the major shipping lines and port facilities abound.

World Government (G)

Ganokoulovaenu is governed by Self-Perpetuating Oligarchy. A single family or small group provides the leadership and important positions in the government. These positions are inherited by member of the group or their family members. The organization may be a monarchy, with titles passed to family members, or a plutocracy where inheritance of the family fortune includes government position. Alternatively, the organization may be a more typical government apparatus, only with positions of power inherited.

• This world is a member of the Commonality of Kedzudh. Governments within the Commonality retain their autonomy but pay a small amount of tax to help support its police force and small navy.

World Economy

Since the Commonality has good relations with most neighboring states, including the Third Imperium and the Zhodani Consulate, a number of Vargr merchant combines have arranged to use the polity as a "flag of convenience", paying a small annual fee for the privilege.

Any illegal or stolen goods found by the Commonality's navy are confiscated and used to help finance the fleet. Merchants who want their goods back are permitted to appeal within one week of the goods being impounded.
