It is a small rodent like creature native to the forests on Focaline (Spinward Marches 2607).
Physiology & Ecology[edit]
The Tree Rat is a bilaterally symmetrical quadruped with a prehensile tail. They are covered with a short fur, usually a reddish brown or dark brown. They are quite curious, with agile paws.
Life Cycle & Reproduction[edit]
Tree rats have a life span of about fifteen standard years. If allowed to breed, they do so about once a year after the age of three, giving live birth to three to five young.
Diet & Trophics[edit]
Tree rats are omnivores, preferring fruits. They will also eat insects or other pests.
