This is one of the earliest and most successful of the Drakaran colonies.

Faneef has a Class E Starport, a frontier quality installation with few expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of a downport.

Cities are laid out in geometric patterns, a function of the race's obsession with order and harmony. Large ranching regions are always nearby, to provide food animals, particularly during The Stalking, a Drakaran predatory phase.
