The star Dheneb (otherwise known as Eta Ceti or Deneb Algenubi or Algenudi) is a K1 III yellowish-orange giant star located in the Terran-sky constellation of Cetus.
- It should not be confused with the blue-white supergiant star with the similar name "Deneb", which is otherwise known as Alpha Cygni.

- The Dheneb star system is approximately 38.0pc from Terra, and is located in a Corespinward/Spinward direction from Terra at bearing 137.2o Galactic Longitude and -72.6o South Galactic Latitude.

Dheneb is the primary star of the world Dheneb/Rangiriri (Canopus 2212).
