Endup is an industrial world with a tainted atmosphere. The system has a population over one billion. This world is designated an Amber Zone. Caution is advised since the world has an environment, laws, customs, life forms, or other conditions that are not well understood and might be a danger to a visitor. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Gulf Subsector of Deneb Sector and in the Domain of Deneb. Endup, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight (the Imperial representative to the world) and the fiefdom of a count. Both are members of the Imperial Landed Nobility who oversee affairs regarding the world at an Interstellar and Imperial level.

History & Background (Dossier)[edit]

World Starport (St)[edit]

Endup has a Class D Starport, a poor quality installation which has few of the expected amenities. There is unrefined fuel for starships and a limited variety of ship provisions. There is no shipyard of any kind, but there may be parts and technical support for doing minor services and repair. Ports of this classification generally consist of only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.

World Government[edit]

Heavily exploited for centuries for heavy metals, using convicted Imperial criminals as forced labor, Endup is now controlled by a religious autocracy. The "Ward of Vision" is seldom seen by the populace and is believed by them to be an all-seeing, all-knowing god.

  • Local technology is limited to level 3 and the Ward uses his own superior technology to cow the populace. The lower elevations are polluted with unhealthful gases; the average lifespan is only 45 years. The higher elevations have pure air but are forbidden to the people on pain of death. The Ward encourages visits by offworlders, whom he hails to the population as visiting gods from the heavens.
