Edsham has a population between 10,000 and 10 million sophonts, lacking the industrial base to be completely self-supporting. It is a member of Third Imperium in the Khandi Subsector of Dagudashaag Sector and in the Domain of Vland. Edsham, as a member world of the Third Imperium, holds the estate of an Imperial knight, a member of the Imperial Nobility charged with overseeing the world. This world contains an Imperial Scout Base, capable of handling Scout Service starships and personnel. During the Long Night this world was named Arkhuusirur.

Astrography and planetology[edit]

Edsham is a member of the Sylean Main. The mainstay of this system is a large IISS base.

History and background[edit]

Native Edshamites have a relaxed view toward the use of alcohol and recreational drugs. This world is one of several cited as the home of the notorious "Scouts Brew".

The complete lack of regulation means there are areas of the city near the Scout base that are off-limits to serving personnel. There are reports of civilian off-worlders, visiting these areas, mistaken for Scouts by the base's shore patrols and roughly incarcerated. Travellers are advised to keep their identification ready to hand.
