Dolak is an agricultural world with the potential to become an industrial power.
- As an agricultural world, this world is a near-ideal environment for producing quality foodstuffs of plant, animal, and other forms. Quality foodstuffs are a major export commodity for this world.
- As a preindustrial world, this planet cannot yet manufacture enough high-technology resources to support a modern, star-faring society. Having to import many manufactured and high tech goods drives the price up for these items at this world.
- It is a member of the Mische Conglomerate in the Vandir Subsector of Crucis Margin Sector.
Description[edit]
Stellar Data[edit]
History & Background (Dossier)[edit]
World Starport (Sp)[edit]
Dolak has a Class C Starport, an average quality installation which features amenities including unrefined fuel for starships, some brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing maintenance and other kinds of repair. Ports of this classification generally have only a downport, unless this is a trade port or system with an hostile environment mainworld.
World Population (P)[edit]
Dolak has a population of 60,000,000 sophonts (tens of millions).
Linguistic Topography[edit]
The primary language is Galian. Secondary languages include Anglic and Vilani.
World Government (G)[edit]
Dolak has a Balkanized Government. There is no central world government. The world has several governments competing for control of the world. These may be allies, cooperating, competitors, or at war with each other.
World Military[edit]
Military forces of the Mische Conglomerate are simply those of individual member words. Joint command protocols do exist for combined operations, and equipment is designed to be interoperable, but the Conglomerate is an alliance, not a state.
World Culture[edit]
This world is part of the Mische Conglomerate. The nation's societal organization assigns families to a semi-rigid class system. Family status and class position largely determine a person's place in the Mische corporate structure, though it is possible for someone to rise above their class status by exceptional action or merit.
