Petzina was a minor colony world, established during the Rule of Man. The system was a minor refueling stop on routes from Woomera (Db 0114) into the Deep, until 3671 when the planetary government decided to assert control over the whole system, and demanded passage fees and refueling fees from the Woomeran merchant ships. The response was fast and decisive; the next Woomeran trading fleet to visit Petzina was accompanied by a squadron of military escort ships, and proceeded directly to the mainworld where the freighters unloaded battalions of Woomeran troops. Both mainworld and system of Petzina have been under military rule from Woomera ever since.
