Yvette Powell and her cousin David Powell made a formidable pair and headed up the Powell Dynasty following the on from Yvette's mother Yvette Powell. The hand over was not sudden and the three had worked as a triumvirate for a number of years.

Rumours that Yvette was a Clone were rife. These were always denied. That she had been conceived through a contracted father was considered damning, although her siblings were similarly conceived and no similar accusation was levelled at them.

As a deliberate policy, Yvette kept the main members of the Powell Dynasty of her generation out of senior public positions in Touchdown - ruling instead through the family's influence. This resulted in a number of investigations for corruption but none stuck. Outside Touchdown, the family started insinuating is way into the power structures of Selene, Afro-Pacific Orbital Complex and The Belt.

As Yvette Naiqama, she became one of the most powerful women that no one had heard of.

Family

Yvette Powell married Solomon Naiqama and is thereafter known as Yvette Naiqama.
