Yvette Powell assumed power in an orderly transition and ruled as Governor of the Commonwealth of Touchdown for 11 years. She left Office to become Councillor for Touchdown during which period she was Captain of the Council for 7 years. She retired from the New Earth Council in 99 to pursue her private interests.

Governor Powell always felt that her intervention in the Heretic's Railroad War that resulted in the First Truce of Matabele was the best action of her career.

Yvette Powell was a member of the powerful Powell Dynasty, and acted as head of that line for many years.

Yvette never married, but bore 4 children over 7 years (43,45,47,49) by contract father - although Yvette Powell may have be a clone of herself.
