Description (Character)

Omata%i is a Dhaen from Dhaen in Provence Sector of the Housekeeper Caste. Not particularly intelligent and genetically happy to cook and clean "Fluffy", as it has been christened, has been overwhelmed by the welcome into the Dog-Tag's crew - which includes monthly pay! Omata%i speaks very poor Aekhu at frequencies inaudible to adult human ears - a translation device is needed by Humans before a meaningful conversation can be held. Vargr hearing is capable of hearing many of the tones used by Omata%i, but misses some of the nuances.

Note: Sophonts are cautioned not to drink Coffee that Omata%i makes for its own consumption as the levels of bleach included for flavouring could be harmful to many species.

Omata%i is the All-Dog-Tag interstellar cooking champion after an onboard competition.

History & Background (Biography)

Initially mistaken for the ships pet aboard a crashed Aegzagangnthoegngvang corsair, Emmylou Cameron-Kuzanlu and Karin Mikkun worked out that Omata%i a.k.a. "Fluffy" was in fact a sophont that had been the corsair captain's servant/slave. Since then, the crew of the Dog-Tag have been fed by this enthusiastic cook.
