An arid equatorial belt is separated from the polar seas by bands of vegetation known as the Outback Country.

Native Lifeforms

The thinness of Boley's atmosphere has led to the evolution of large, thin plants which collect as much sunlight and oxygen as possible during the day and then curl up with the approach of night. Most ground growth resembles mosses and lichens.

Most of Boley's 9.3 million inhabitants live in small communities dotting the coasts of the polar seas.
