The Basa is a creature lifeform that is not a sophont.

Description (Specifications)[edit]

'Basa' are small (0.3m average height, 5 kg averge weight) carnivourous creatures. They have huge hind legs and a skinfold between their arms and sides, which allows them to leap and glide large distances - up to 50 metres per hop. They are mammal like, with a light covering of fur. Their diet mainly consists of insects, grubs and eggs. They live and feed in groups of 20 - 30 individuals. In general they are not aggressive, but they are fiercely territorial and will attack to defend their nests.
Their primary predator is the Isen.
