Overview[edit]
Arlenak (world) is a rich, if troubled world. The planet underwent a revolution by various anti-Establishment forces, which overthrew the previous government, the Arlenak Central Authority, in 1097. Several groups of insurgents continue to fight the ruling democracy "in name of the old order". The situation is further complicated by the fact that the ruling democracy is fractured, with large factions continually blocking each others agendas, rendering the world parliament immobilised. It is likely that a second revolution is on the horizon.

The systems only star is Melenokov, a G6 type star.
Orbit 1[edit]
In orbit 1 there is a small, rocky, tidally locked planet known a Lilangra. Lilangra is uninhabited apart from a few scientific teams that live in heat shielded bunkers.
Orbit 2[edit]
In orbit 2 there is the systems main world Arlenak (world), home to 759 million people. Arlenak lies 0.74 AU away from the star, inside the jump shadow of the star, necessitating a journey to reach the world.
Orbit 3[edit]
Orbit 3 is empty.
Orbit 4[edit]
Orbit 4 contains the systems only planetoid belt. It is uninhabited apart from the typical community of Belters and a few research teams.
Orbit 5[edit]
Orbit 5 contains one of the systems two gas giants, Mizenok. Mizenok is in possession of a stunning group of rings, making it a huge tourist attraction. Incidentally, it also has a large concentration of rare crystals and metals, making it great industry for miners.
Orbit 6[edit]
The gas giant Xemenor, in contrast to Mizenok, is rather dull and small. It is of not much use to anyone, aside from being a place to refuel without being noticed.
Orbit 7[edit]
Orbit 7 contains a small frozen iceworld by the name of Bilaeker. It is uninhabited, but rumoured to house a band of Vargr corsairs who prey on local shipping.

Arlenak (Fo 3126) has a Class B Starport, a good quality installation which includes all the expected amenities including refined fuel for starships, brokerage services for passengers and cargo, and a variety of ship provisions. There is a shipyard capable of doing annual maintenance, overhauls and most kinds of repair, and construction of non-starships. Most ports of this classification have both a Highport and a Downport.
