Agency of Industrial Innovation
A government agency of the Graytch people, based on Liigash (also known as Yuzma).
The Agency of Industrial Innovation was prominent in the first century of the Third Imperium. For the Graytch, the arrival of the Imperium was a chance to exchange ideas and technology. Graytch traveled offworld in increasing numbers on holiday and for trade. The scientific and cultural agencies financed fact-finding missions, contracting traders and merchants to carry Graytch throughout Imperial Space, but the true goal was to gain jump technology. The Agency of Industrial Innovation (AII) was given the task of building the first Graytch starship. A contract was signed with the megacorporation GSbAG, under which AII obtained the jump drive in exchange for the exclusive rights to develop Graytch structural engineering for the building of space habitats. In 52, the Agency launched the Say-ta-Chi, a 600-ton, J-2 exploration vessel. The Graytch were soon in great demand for space construction under GSbAG promotions.
Leadership in a Graytch government agency is selected internally, without input from the masses.
